A budget tracker that does not make you feel behind.
Duck Budget is a cozy illustrated room. The lamp, the jar, the envelope, and the plate all change with the state of your money, so you can see how the month is going before you open anything.
Built for people who bounce off ordinary budgeting apps — and kept entirely on your own phone.
/ Your data
No account. No servers. Your money never leaves your phone.
Duck Budget never connects to a bank and never sends us your records. Every number lives on your device, and every feature that touches your money works with the phone in airplane mode. The one thing that goes online is checking a Pro purchase, which carries no financial data. You can export the whole lot, or erase it, from the menu.

/ What is inside
Five things, and a duck
- Calendar
- What is coming up. Bills, paydays, and anything that repeats, on a month you can actually read.
- Savings
- What you are building toward. Set money aside without moving it out of your account.
- Wallet
- What money you have. Accounts, cash, envelopes — whatever holds it, in one list.
- Expenses
- Where it went. One sheet, a few taps, no forms to fill in.
- Loans
- What you owe, and how much of it is left. No interest maths to configure.
The duck is not a sixth module. It sits in the room and says one true thing at a time — what is due, what is close, what the app has not heard about in a while.
/ How it is built
Designed for how your brain works
Recognition over recall
The room shows you the state of things. You never have to remember what to check.
One decision at a time
Each screen asks for one thing. Nothing stacks up four questions before it does anything useful.
Progress over perfection
Miss a week and nothing scolds you. There are no streaks to break and no completion score.
Honest about what it knows
Spent counts only what you logged, and the app says so rather than implying the picture is complete.
There are no charts, and it will never compare this month against last month. A comparison is a scoreboard, and a scoreboard is exactly what makes people stop opening the app.
